The instructors, check pilots, and officers who lead TRARON's training mission.
Leadership
Clint leads the TRARON organization with the objective of promoting the discipline of safe formation flying within the Commemorative Air Force and beyond. He is a member of Airbase Georgia, an Air Traffic Controller at the Atlanta TRACON, and a long-time warbird instructor. Clint holds a FAST Lead qualification.
Rob is an airline pilot, former F-15 pilot, and Wing Leader of the CAF Alaska Colonel Hunt Wing. As TRARON Executive Officer, Rob is our second in command and administrative backbone, helping keep the squadron running smoothly day to day. Rob is a FAST Check Pilot.
Mike is an airline pilot, prolific warbird pilot, and TORA! TORA! TORA! pilot since 2015. As Operations Officer, Mike plans and runs our formation clinics and events, including aircraft, sorties, briefings, and instructor pairings. Mike is a FAST Check Pilot.
John is a nationally recognized advocate for aviation safety, particularly as it applies to high-performance warbird aircraft. He has decades of experience spanning general aviation, charter, and airline operations, and serves on the CAF Headquarters Staff as Director of Safety. As TRARON Safety Officer, John oversees our safety program and helps ensure that our clinics and sorties meet FAST and CAF safety standards. John is a FAST Check Pilot.
Jeff has been a member of Airbase Georgia for over 25 years and serves as a flying sponsor for multiple CAF aircraft. As TRARON Administrator, he manages membership rolls and certification records and ensures all formation cards are issued in compliance with FAST standards. Jeff holds a FAST Wingman qualification.
